Finding Your Authentic Voice

One of the greatest privileges of my work is seeing strengths in people that they don't always see in themselves.

Often, I see it through storytelling.

A client shares a story - sometimes one they haven't thought about in years.

It's a good story. But I can sense there's more to it.

So I offer a prompt.
Sometimes it's a question about a detail they rushed past.

Sometimes it's simply,
"Can we take it up a notch?" And they tell it again.

Each time, the story unfolds a little more.

And as it does, something changes.
The story isn't just a memory anymore.

It's a window into who they are.

Their character.
Their resilience.
Their kindness.
Their leadership.

It was all there from the beginning.
Sometimes it just takes the right question - and the space to tell the story again - to bring it forward.

My role isn't to change who people are. It's to help them communicate the very best of who they already are.

When that happens, people don't just become better communicators.
They become more authentic.

And that's where connection begins.
